Professors GeoKitty and ChemCat Explore Science: Volcanoes

Professors Geokitty and ChemCat explore the nature of volcanoes! What is a volcano? What is magma and how does it form? What are the 3 main types of volcanoes and how are volcanoes classified? Magma, hot molten rock, finds its way through cracks in the Earth's surface where it becomes lava. Included are a word-unscramble puzzle, fill-in the blanks with volcano words, and a word search grid. The professors hope this will help reinforce what the reader has learned! Also included are mazes and an experiment to make your own volcano. Dr. D hopes to pique the interest of the reader to the subject of science. She does this through the unique use of her characters Geokitty and ChemCat throughout the volcano story, along with the use of vivid, engaging images.
