After spending a year on a parallel Earth, Majestic returns home to find a deserted planet, devoid of all human and animal life, with empty cities rising like abandoned monuments of a bygone civilization. Now he must traverse the abyss of interstellar space, doggedly tracking an alien race that has stolen every person on our Earth.
