W.G. Sebald's fictional texts are often accompanied by black and white photographs, printed on poor quality book paper. The basic idea of this book was to take nearly the same photographs that Sebald has used in his books, that is, to visit the same places, find the same motifs and take pictures of them in a new perspective - how they look today, 25-30 years later and in color. Some places has remained exactly the same, like the cove image, while others might look completely different today. The result is a beautifully printed, linnen bound book, with a high class finish in every detail.
