Jamie didn’t write their book report, and is desperate to keep the reason why a secret. Everyone in Jamie’s life – friends, teachers, parents – are wondering why. She tells her best friend she was too sick to write it; her school nurse that a bully stole it; her bus driver that she was having too much fun to bother. But Jamie’s teacher won’t have the wool pulled over her eyes so easily, and the inevitable confrontation will challenge Jamie to voice the truth in a way she has never done before – and the truth might change how her community sees her for good. 7-10 minutes. 1 female, 1 male, 6 any.
