The Neighborhood is a contemporary, secular moral philosophy that emphasizes freedom of thought and expression, respect for all life, and devotion to knowledge. The Neighborhood is intended to be an open, inclusive, community dedicated to making the world a better place for all. The Neighborhood rejects the idea of religion, realizing that religions suppress the search for knowledge, oppose the growth of humanity and attempt to divide us and keep us fighting amongst ourselves. The Neighborhood embraces logic and the ethical pursuit of science in an attempt to improve the lives of all. This is what makes The Neighborhood the one true religion.In part one, The Book of Neighbors, introduces the best arguments against the major religions and replaces them with an updated worldview and morality. In part two, Breaking Bread, expands on the first part and prepares Neighbors for interacting with others that are not familiar with The Neighborhood.
