David is worried about life passing him by; his only friends are books, and he thinks nothing exciting will happen to him like it does to his book heroes. When a near miss makes David rethink adventure, he meets a real-life hero, homeless Seth. He invites Seth to come home with him, intrigued by the man who saved his life. Can David and Seth find something better than the plot of any novel?
