Toni has left home and is desperately looking for somewhere to live; it’s no fun when you have nowhere to go. She finds a squat taken over by other kids, and though at first they are furious that she has gatecrashed, they eventually welcome her. But they all know each other really well... and Toni doesn’t know any of them yet! However she soon becomes close to Marco, Renee, Gino, P’tit Pit, Marina, Bruno and Christina as they encourage each other to look for jobs and develop their lives... and then grieves with them too, when Marco is killed.
