Emmy and the Blue Door

Emmy has landed a summer job, working at a camp in a remote Mexican village. There would be adventure in a foreign land, as well as the satisfaction of helping people in one of the poorest areas of Mexico. However, in spite of her own rough childhood, Emmy was not prepared for severe problems and poverty of the local population. How Emmy succeeds in dealing with these problems makes for a novel that is both wise and adventurous.
