Joe and his granddad are having a holiday together in bear country in British Columbia. Joe is really looking forward to using all the tracking skills and bear knowledge his granddad has taught him, but he didn't count on getting lost, being chased by a grizzly, stumbling across a poisoned lake, and encountering the ghost of a Spirit Bear.
