Dr. Dinah Ann Daniels, CEO of Daniel Animal Treatment Center, wife of nineteen years to kevin Daniels Attorney at Law, and loving mother of NIcholas Daniels a skilled vocal and pianist, attending The Perfoming Arts of Denver. Life couldn't be better for Dinah. They are an eminent African American family living the American dream. Until she discovers that everything she'd ever known is a lie. A life full of scandal and deceit would surface and destroy her perfect family. She didn't understand, how you go from being on top of the world to being stretched out under it? Despite it all Dinah is determined to survive, to beat the odds. Growing up, money was an issue in their houshold. It's what Big Mama and Papa argued about. Kevin and Dinah worked hard to ensure their family never had that problem. But no amount of money could right this wrong, Dinah never thought she would see the day when it didn't make a difference if she had one million or one dollar. She was use to a world blinded by financial and social status. It didn't matter that she was just a colored girl from Mississippi, who wore shoes with holes worn through the soles when her parents couldn't afford to buy her new ones. Dinah was proud of her heritage and where she came from, it helped her to appreciate what she had. Everything was perfect in her eye as well as everyone else's. She never imagined she'd face tragedy beyond her wildest nightmare. This betrayal would sacrifice everything she and Kevin worked so hard for and much more. It is what it is; Dinah had to face the fact that she could not buy their way out of this one. Driven by Big Mama's saying, and her best freind Gloria at her side. Dinah would prove that she is truly a fighter.
