Fresh off her defeat at the Bledsoe House, Penn struggles to find hope for herself, her family, and the world at large. The Supervisor's got bigger plans than she can imagine, and she's the key to making them work... Her powers are expanding, costing her a bit more of her humanity with every breath. A new threat emerges from the void between worlds. Everything she thought she knew about her father, the Medusae, and her place in the universe shifts.
