We're Going on an Elf Hunt

Fed up with being prey, Red prepares to take the fight to the Infected, but her plans derail when humanity falls victim to an even older foe—greed. Having found a planet willing to negotiate for the enchanted artifacts used to draw out the Infected, Red provided the Earth a chance to protect itself from invasion. Frustrated at the prospect of a future defined by hiding and defense, Red embarks on a mission to stop the Infected once and for all. But when greed and ambition square off against limited resources amidst a collapsing inter-world economy, Red must forego her quest and keep humanity from destroying itself. The human colonies, plagued for eons with world-ending attacks by the Infected, battle over the remnants left behind by the vanished elves.
