There is so much Ty and I didn’t know about our world! Why, and how, there came to be three different classes of reapers. How reapers and mages bond. Why reapers even have mages to begin with! Though we always have been, and always will be, best friends as well as twins, we’ve both made strides in giving each other the space to build friendships with others. I don’t think Ty will ever grow out of overprotective, big brother mode though. Especially when it comes to my friendship with Rafe. Ty says there’s something off about him, but all I can see are those broad shoulders, gorgeous eyes, and the coffee he brings me every morning before class. He may be a little over the top, but I think it’s sweet. Plus the attention he gives me doesn't hurt, either. And don’t even get me started on Nikos. Ugh. I don’t know how much longer I can deal with him without getting whiplash. Can anyone spell psycho? When he’s not hounding me and being a total douche-canoe in Grim Defense Training, he’s skulking in the shadows. Not to mention how he disappears for days on end. I will find out where he’s going. And it has nothing to do with why I can’t get the memory of his scent out of my mind. Maybe I will even get to the bottom of why his hard, defined, out-of-this-world hot body keeps frequenting my dreams, like nearly every night. Or why I wake up panting with need, my sheets soaked beneath me from more than just sweat. Is it possible to loathe someone while also having the best fantasies of your life about them? Asking for a friend. Speaking of friends, I have finally settled into life with my girls and spending time with Novalee is really helping me learn more about mages. You know me- knowledge is my happy juice. Or something like that. **Facepalm** Still, I have to keep myself aware. After last time, Ty has made it very clear I can't allow myself to slip even a little, now that we are here. My mission is to learn more about the strange power coursing through my body and how to prevent it from taking over again. After all, it is more than just my life on the line if I get caught.
