Offspring of a Deathless Soul

This is a story about an unexpected adoption of an abandoned baby girl from a Chinese orphanage. At its heart it is a story of the transforming power of love and a description of the process by which people and events are brought into our lives in order to heal past loss and trauma. A present-day story of a trip to China is woven together with a story of a past life which explains the unfolding drama and guides the narrator to an emotional reconcilliation.
