The inn should be packed to the gills this time of year, but it isn’t, so Eloise and Matthew hatch a plan to bring in more customers. The Soup With Your Sweetie special includes a double room for the price of a single, deluxe breakfast, lots of fun bonuses around the village, and best of all, soup every day from Potbelly’s Soup Kitchen, a restaurant, owned by Eloise’s good friend Edna, that features family recipes handed down for generations. Unfortunately, the onslaught of new customers brings with it a few unwanted guests, including Edna’s conniving cousin Shirley, who is set on taking a piece of Edna’s business for herself. When a murder is discovered, and poor Edna becomes the prime suspect, it’ll be up to Eloise and Matthew to find the real killer…before it’s too late.
