Auctioned Virginity

He taught me how to fight. To stand up for myself. I moved out after my mom died. I was sixteen, but my step-dad Romero, said I could come back whenever I wanted. So when the bills piled up and college was just around the corner, I moved back in at eighteen. It was the only way I'd be able to afford an education, and though he wasn't my real dad, I knew Romero would take care of me. But when I stumble into his private den to ask for money, I inadvertently interrupt him and his handsome, wealthy friends playing poker. Too late to leave, I ask for the money I need to buy a new car. That's when his friends start to bid on me. On my virginity. But they're spouting numbers that I can't even picture having a dollar sign in front of. They're all dangerous--but not even I know just how dangerous until it's too late. Even though Romero tries to stop me, I decide to consider what it would mean to give up my body for money. Except the way my step-dad looks at me, I can't help but think he's the one that wants to take what I'm offering.
