If the nobles don’t kill him, the monsters will. After a careless noble makes him lose his job, Alistair has to think of creative ways to make money. He used to be an adventurer, but that life is too dangerous to go back to. He has a wife and son to think about now. He still has his skills from when he fought monsters; light magic and healing. He just has to think of a good way to use his magic in a way that won’t get him killed. The odds are stacked against him with nobles that want to keep the status quo and monsters from the nearby dungeon attacking him on his way home. Adding insult to injury, the bank wants to foreclose on his home. To succeed, he is going to have to anger someone. Maybe everyone. A fantasy LitRPG with a mix of action and slice-of-life.
