#2 Lords of the Regency
Making a Match for the Marquess
Georgia Griffan Lady Rebecca Cavendish has been matchmaking in her small Gloucestershire village since the age of fourteen. As far as she’s concerned, she knows more about love and romance than most people. With three successful marriages under her belt, she sees no reason to pause her endeavours when her mother insists on a London season.
After all, in London there must be many more people who require the services of a matchmaker. Almost upon arriving in the capital, Rebecca zeroes in on the Marquess of Camberry. The handsome lord would be a fine match for any lady, but his shyness does him no good in the marriage mart. Clearly, he needs help that only Rebecca can give him.
The Marquess proves to be more of a challenge than she anticipated. No matter how many suitable ladies Rebecca throws at him, none of them seem to stick. For one reason or another, they just don’t suit the recalcitrant lord.
As she redoubles her efforts, Rebecca finds herself growing closer and closer to the Marquess. But the number one rule of matchmaking is don’t fall in love with the client!
