Captain William Wells, Master Mariner, former Ship's Master and Marine/Harbour Pilot is, in retirement, a successful Public Speaker. Leaving his native New Zealand having only just turned 16 years of age, he travelled to England where he underwent his basic nautical training before joining the British Merchant Navy where he was to spend almost 49 years.. Having led a totally different life to most, he has decided at last to put many of his more interesting moments down on paper. In this autobiography he relates how he lived his boyhood dream!
