Nineteen Nineteen

“Nineteen Nineteen,” the major exhibition of the Centennial Celebration at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, opened Sept. 21, 2019, demonstrating a pivotal year in world history with about 275 objects drawn from The Huntington’s holdings. To complement the exhibition, The Huntington has published Nineteen Nineteen, a 260-page, richly illustrated book by James Glisson and Jennifer A. Watts. The catalog was recognized by AIGA, the professional association for design, for having one of the most impressive book designs of 2019.
