Summer Time

"Summer Time is project that first began in the fall of 2009. It took another almost two years of sketching, writing, thumb nailing, scribbling, planning, drafting, editing, erasing, crying, and discussing before it was finally completed in the late summer of 2011. It was written and drawn using only pencils and ballpoint pens, with a little white-out here and there, on 14" by 17" Bristol paper. This piece is semi-autobiographical, but all names have been changed, and any resemblance to real people or places is purely coincidental." (This is the author's description of the work.)
