BUGS BE GONE

Bugs Be Gone is a great children's book about keeping the germs away. This book goes through a social story of a little boy named Jay Scott who has to stay home due to being sick. He doesn’t understand why he can’t go to school and be with his friends and teachers. However, with this story; he learned why it’s important to stay home when sick and is educated on how to prevent the spread of germs (bugs). He learned also the importance of masks and the use of hand sanitizer for COVID-19. This is a perfect story to read to your kiddos during this tough time with COVID-19 and if they have to stay home due to social distancing. This book helps children to understand the importance of handwashing, sanitizing, wearing masks, and social distancing. Remember instead of hugging; you can give air hugs. Instead of handshaking; you can give an air fist bump.
