First Edition. Fictionalized account of the author's real-life experiences on San Quentin's Death Row following a wrongful murder conviction. Lamson also published a non-fiction account (We Who Are About To Die, 1935). Oddly, the setting is changed to Washington State Penitentiary for this fictional version.
