September 2022 On Mars a new base awaits its first occupants while probes collect data on soil composition. On Earth two estranged brothers, torn apart by the rule of primogeniture, have their lives mapped out for them: one as heir to the most powerful mining corporation, the other as a member of the Colonia Project that plans to establish the first human settlement on the red planet. Until a probe relays unusual readings… The rival brothers then both set up plans. But there can be only one CEO to MineCorp, and there is only one seat available aboard Colonia One, the ship about to depart to Mars.
