The Gods of Silverlake

Every five years, delegates from the five tribes known as the Gauntlet Alliance come together. Trade, commerce and a mutual bonding takes place concerning the safety of their respective villages against other marauding threats. As the newly appointed blacksmith, Astrid is asked to attend, despite the fact that she is still mourning the loss of her father. In the days to follow, she is thrown into the middle of a civil war, the murder of a queen and an ancient mystery. Astrid is going to have to call on all her powers, wit, and of course friends if she is going to discover what lurks beneath the city of Silverlake and answer the question: What is worse? Monster . . . or God.
