Bloodstained Sea - The Odyssey of the Vietnamese Boat People

In 1975, South Vietnam fell under the control of Communism. This historical event ushered in an era of chaos, injustice, and inhumane conditions imposed upon its people. Desperation led many South Vietnamese “Boat People” to escape in search of a safe harbor knowing the risk and peril they would be facing at sea. Among these drifters in search of freedom, is a young man, Vu, who falls in love with a young woman, Van, during their flight to freedom. Their love is challenged by the unspeakable tragedies and the unimaginable cruelty suffered while at sea. Would their love survive the damage inflicted upon their bodies and their souls?
