A tale of love and betrayal, wild women, rough men, and, of course, flying. Anna’s dad took her flying for the first time when she was just seven. From that point on, she knew the sky was hers. Her parents split up shortly after, and her father disappears while flying over rugged territory in Alaska, and is never found. Anna blames her mother for driving her father away. As she grows older, she becomes obsessed with men and flying. After college, Anna, the wild girl, finally settles down, marries Charlie, and has a child, Maria. She gets a job as a commercial pilot, where she is being fast-tracked to become one of the airline’s first female captains. Her career ambitions are threatened when she has to chose between career, marriage, and lover.
