The world's only dead private investigator is about to meet a god. After Raz Frewer died, he became a ghost named Painter Mann with no memories of his past life. What Painter does know is that he must destroy the realm between life and death known as the InBetween. That means taking out the one who created it. However, this demi-god has kidnapped hundreds of ghosts to harvest their energy for machines that will destroy the living world. Before he does anything, he's got to rescue them.
