Donna got a ride home from a stranger one night. That wasn’t odd in and of itself, but she was from Watervliet, where nothing happened and there were no strangers. Gary was new to the area and she spent no time at all, getting to know him better. He found her in a mood, and before long, Donna was paying him back for the ride, in the one way, she knew they both needed.
