Bees, above perhaps all other native insects, are a vital part of the British Isles. With the value of their honey and wax, and the work they do pollinating our crops, they've become an indelible part of our history and mythology, filling our lore and early religions with tales of little gods and devoted messengers. This book is a brief collection of some of these stories, and a celebration of our bees throughout history.
