Sailors Don't Care

The author's debut publication, a ribald novel which drew upon his experiences working on a tramp freighter after departing Williams College. He went on to write several other works and is best known for his mystery novels. Originally published by Contact Editions in 1929, this edition is somewhat revised with some expurgated scenes.
