Atoms of Delight: An Anthology of Scottish Haiku and Poems

Atoms of Delight is an anthology of Scottish haiku and other short poetic forms, including epigrams, proverbs, couplets, spaces, one-line poems and one-word poems. The poets include established names such as Alan Spence, Kathleen Jamie, Edwin Morgan, Kevin MacNeil, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Sheena Blackhall, Bruce Leeming and Iain Crichton Smith. Atoms of Delight brings together all of the short poetic forms, used by Scottish writers: Japanese haiku and the Latin epigram, the indigenous proverb and epitaph, and contemporary European innovations such as the one-word poem.
