This book is a collection of personal narratives written by 10th and 11th grade students at the High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan. In their pieces, students explore the theme of place and how it shapes us. For six weeks, these students worked with 826NYC volunteers to craft original stories about large apartment complexes and small bedrooms, family vacations and imagined escapes, and much, much more.
