This true, tragic but yet intriguing story is set in 1960s Earls Colne, Essex. Twelve years old Linda Smith disappeared one cold January evening while running an errand. It led to the largest missing persons search undertaken by Essex Police up to that date and remains the oldest unsolved murder on the files of Suffolk Police. The author's narrative is styled to draw you back in time as if witness to the sad case unfolding. The book is 97 pages in length including many black and white images taken by the author to place you at the scenes as well as images of Linda. It is a very thought provoking read.
