Bridges are burning as ice takes hold in Rochester. After the Wild Hunt and his part in the deaths at the Grith, Jon struggles to get his feet back under him. The Elders of the magical community want answers, and as the Daughters focus on getting them from the rogue illusionist, questions of torture and the line between hunters and those they hunt weigh on the tenuous alliance Jordan made with Monday and the Daughters of the Grith.
