Peter's Pixie

“Pixies are mischievous,”…said [Aunt Agnes], “but very good companions.” Peter has his own pixie, and what trouble it causes him! When the pixie bats a ball right into a bowl of salad or knocks over building blocks Peter gets the blame, for he is the only one who knows the pixie is there. Besides, he is about to become a big brother and his preoccupied parents are expecting him to be especially grown up. But when the pixie disappears, Peter is surprised to find that he is lonely.
