Meet Crow, a young apprentice blacksmith who wandered a bit far when searching for a master. Crow finds a place with the royal blacksmith, Jek, and in the process, befriends the Crown Prince Alexander. The two become great friends over the course of a few adventures, but there are barriers in the way. Alexander is all to aware that he is the Crown Prince and that Crow is nothing but a blacksmith. And for Crow, well, there are shadows and secrets standing in the blacksmith’s past. Not the least of which is that he is really a she. This book explores the friendship between two unlikely souls, while indulging in some adventure, a bit of a dark past and, eventually, love.
