The STAR TREK universe now presents “THE DESTROYERS”, is a riveting fan fiction tale of what initially appeared to be a simple Borg incursion into Federation Space. Then the problem expanded to become a menace to the Milky Way and finally became to be a menace to the entire universe as we know it. The Borg were on the move assimilating world after world with a speed and precision never witnessed by anyone before. Resistance was futile and it looked like there was no hope, no escape, and no hiding place until Guinan and her associate Alnam came up with the idea to find a group of extremely powered beings who had visited the El-Aurian homeworld centuries ago and helped them avert a huge crisis. The hope was that they might help now to overcome the Borg. These people were thought to be a myth from Guinan’s people’s past but given the situation at hand, the Federation was desperate and was willing to investigate any and all possible solutions to the current dilemma. In a final act of desperation, the Federation ordered Picard and crew off on a long-shot mission to try to find these elusive Strangers before everything becomes Borg. But even if they find these elusive strangers, will even these beings be able to help push back the Borg onslaught? With the addition of Lt. Commander Li and her Borg research team to Picard’s crew, the Federation placed all its hope into this hail-Mary mission that would save all of existence. This book is the first in a series of 7 that revolves around Lt. Commander Li and her part in saving the universe, then the adventure continues across time and space to eventually bring her back to the Federation, Star Fleet and the next impending danger to the universe.
