Teenagers taking their own lives. Suicide by hanging. What could be worse? In this crazy world, young people can get caught up in terrible things considered “trendy” or “cool.” Wichita P. D. Detectives, Lou McGregor and Donna Decker, are faced with such a possibility when two girls’ lives were cut short at the end of a rope. Things just don’t add up for Detective Decker, and she doesn’t believe the evidence before her. But will she be able to prove it before another is found hanging from a tree? Fellow detectives, Roger Duncan and J. C. Palmer are working the brutal homicide of a woman in east Wichita, when suddenly, both their cases collide.
