Ann Mathick had a dream. She was determined to make the rambling, run down Norfolk farm, which she had inherited from a disreputable uncle, a prosperous and well-ordered place. None of the county believed the farm could be saved, particularly by a female. But they reckoned without the courage of the small, resolute woman.
