Just a few short months have elapsed since that cold day in January when Carl Marsden and Cindy Phelps teamed up at the Chesterbrook precinct but much has changed. Carl has joined the team of county “rovers,” employees whose mission it is to test voting machines and prepare supplies for upcoming elections, as well as support the precincts on Election Day. He jumps into his tasks with his customary zeal but gradually comes to realize that something is terribly wrong, something which if left unchecked will contaminate the results of the upcoming November election. His additional challenge is that no one believes him… …no one except Cindy, his one-time antagonist and now good friend, whose name happens to appear on the ballot as a candidate. Together they must discern the totality of the situation and then decide how far they are willing to go and how much they are willing to risk for the sake of electoral integrity. Time however is not on their side as one way or another, it will all come to a head on "November Third."
