Recently single Carol Monroe left her painful past behind for a new life in the small town of Oakcrest, California, and her new friend, Sue Thompson, is right there to help her settle in. Carol likes the idea of starting over, and the low price tag on the house makes it all the more appealing. But what of the home’s disturbing past? Local folklore tells of a demon who feasts on the souls of the home’s inhabitants. But is it real or just a bunch of small town superstition?
