Now that the War on Heaven is over, and the traitors have been cast out, including Samael, Laerien needs to get Aofie to where she needs to be, and starting her on her own path. Before that though, Laerien needs to place her exactly where she needs to be, if Lucifer lets her. Time travel is also strictly outlawed for angels, so she knows that she will never return. But it's not just Heaven's sundering that needs to be limited - if Aofie doesn't get to where she needs to be, then humanity as it stands will also be destroyed.
