Gabe the Gum Chewer and his best friend, Elspeth, like doing a lot of things, especially chewing gum. There's only one thing they hate: reading. When the librarian puts Elspeth under a spell that would have her reading for all of eternity, Gabe must read a book from cover to cover--and truly love it--to get his friend back.
