Back on Cheat: Stories of West Virginia

Back on Cheat is a fictional collection of twelve short stories. They represent the cultural heart and minds of the people and their environs in the vicinity of the Cheat River where it makes its way through Randolph County, West Virginia. All of the stories are a reflection of the author’s deep-felt regard for the mountainous region where he grew up.
