Heretic

In an era of ideological extremes, Brother Anseau de Montmorency is called to join a papal excursion to debate the heretics. His first inclination is to blindly obey, but when the retinue is attacked leaving him the sole survivor, Anseau searches for the truth. He discovers an underlying plot by the Pope to launch a crusade that could annihilate southern France.
