Photography and nature study on New Zealand. Better known as New Zealand, Aotearoa is a destination for travellers and wildlife enthusiasts. Many of the animals found there, including the majority of bird species, are only found in New Zealand. Unfortunately, many of these species are threatened by non-native predators and loss of habitat. As a result, many species live in isolated areas that can be difficult to access and experience. Max Allen, a wildlife biologist and photographer from the U.S.A., completed his Ph.D. in New Zealand.
