Hair of the Dog

Mattie Brown, picker extraordinaire, is combing the backwoods for antiques and uniques galore. During an overnight stay at a remote motel, she dreams of a modern-day travelling circus and its cruel master, Dr. Indigo. Though he reminds Mattie of the real-life abuser she’s fled, in the bright light of morning she readily dismisses the terror-filled night. As Mattie continues her journey, she encounters Miss Zoey Princess, a not-so-ordinary Shih Tzu, and the little dog’s mystical guardian, Raina Bealtaine. When a mysterious foretelling puts Mattie on a collision course with destiny, she realizes that Dr. Indigo’s Bayou Circus may actually be a nightmare come to life.
