The Gatehouse

Carla worshiped the house at first sight. She stood motionless in the rain, gazing up at the steeply pitched roof and the water running off the sides, while the friendly real estate lady tried her key on the front door. But when Carla moved into the gatehouse with the man she loved, she discovered there was far more to the old house than met the innocent eye.
