Book Two of the A Broken Paradise Series Continue to follow Awen as she continues her journey through America. She's arrived at JFK International and hooked up with her good friend, Sheriton, her best friend of all time - her sister by right. Sheriton is still her old over-exaggerated self, but she's older now; she's a woman. Awen fears she's missed so much while she's been away, she's drowned by the possibility that Sheriton might not accept the reasoning behind her sudden arrival in America, and the possibility that she's a threat. What if Sheriton doesn't follow her - will the others? Cualli is thrown into hot water with the arrival of the past coming to haunt him, and their attempts to kill Awen at any cost. He's torn between following the rightful path, the one he's supposed to stick too, or improvise around it where the unknown awaits him and Awen in the darkness, as Awen's presence becomes known to anything and everything that hunts her. Cualli must get her to safety among the Alliance where she will meet the other Prophets of her purpose and unite the people - bringing them together where they should be.
